The materials used for the preparation of the pieces are willow and chestnut. The purpose of these objects has to do with transport, within the rural, agricultural and domestic areas. Nowadays they continue to be of importance although they now also have a decorative function.

Tomas Hernandez Negrín - Weaver

Preparation of cloth in the traditional Canarian style, created on a manual loom. Among the raw materials used on the looms are those of vegetable origin, such as linen or cotton and those of animal origin such as sheep’s wool and silk. The creation of these cloths follows the traditional procedure of preparation which has been used for centuries, maintaining the authenticity of a unique craftwork product.
